Creme de Caramel in Crock Pot

I’ve read a few recipes for a creamy caramel made in a crockpot.  Doesn’t that sound so delicious, just the word ‘caramel’ oozes out nothing but lucious yumminess.

Apparently, all you need to do is take sweetened condensed milk and place in a seal tight jar and cover in water and cook for 8 or so hours in your slow cooker.  Details are important but I need to try it out first to ensure it works and then I will have details.

To jazz it up, add some bourbon or try some Grand Marnier.    Plain would be amazing as is, but I want to try something new so  I’m going to experiment with 2 ingredients, Grand Marnier and Panama Jacks.

I have no idea on how this will turn out, so wish me luck, I will get back to you in a few days.  Have to get sweetened milk tomorrow, Grand Marnier, mmm, I can’t wait to taste this.

Sunday, March 3, still did not get the condensed milk, on this week’s to do list.!! People are waiting to try this.  🙂
